Revell Fire Strike Pro 4-Rotor Helo
Fire Strike Pro indoor RC helicopter offers 3 channel control for full flight maneuvers

Fire Strike Pro r in close hover
Be sure to fully charge your Fire Strike Pro indoor RC helicopter battery prior to your first flight. Always use fresh AA batteries in the Controller. As mentioned before, ensure that you do not force the charging jack into the indoor RC helicopter charging port, or you may damage the small electrical pins. Once the charging plug is properly aligned with the jack, the plug will slide right in. Slide the front switch on the Controller to “Charge,” and the charging light will flash. When the indoor RC helicopter battery is fully charged, the charge light will come on steady.
First flights with the Fire Strike Pro
The key to successful flight of the Fire Strike Pro indoor RC helicopter is correct throttle use (left stick). See addition information at micro RC helicopter reviews. When flying, move the throttle in very small, smooth and deliberate increments. Do not rapidly move the throttle (or any other control of this indoor RC helicopter) as you would a computer game controller joystick. The Fire Strike Pro is a carefully engineered flying machine that needs to be operated with a soft touch, much like one’s movement of a steering wheel when driving a car.

The Fire Strike Pro's four rotors provide exceptionally stable flight
We are now ready to take the Fire Strike Pro indoor RC helicopter up for a flight. Ensure the throttle stick is fully down (motor off position). Check that the helicopter is on a flat surface, and headed away from you. You should be looking at the tail of the indoor RC helicopter, as this will greatly aid with orientation on your initial turns. Turn on the Controller, followed by the Fire Strike indoor RC helicopter. Keep your attention on the helicopter, and not the Controller. Locate the left-right turn trim dial near the right stick of the Controller, and gently increase the throttle. The Fire Strike Pro indoor RC helicopter will start lifting off. Concentrate completely on use of the throttle, with gentle inputs, to keep the Fire Strike indoor RC helicopter at an altitude of about eye level. Don’t worry if the indoor RC helicopter is turning left or right, just work the throttle to keep it level.
Trimming the Fire Strike Pro
Once the indoor RC helicopter is in a level hover, gently move the left-right trim dial to stop any turning of the helicopter. This will be a little hard at first, as you’ll need to continually use the left throttle stick to maintain level flight. But, after a flight or two, this trimming will become second nature. Once any uncommanded turns have been stopped, it is time to trim out any forward or backward movement with the upper trim dial near the right stick. You will need to trim the Fire Strike Pro indoor RC helicopter every time you turn the Controller on, but it will just take a few moments right after takeoff on future flights.

The Fire Strike Pro flies well close in
The Fire Strike Pro is fully trimmed when the right control stick is neutral, and the helicopter does not turn left or right, nor move forward or backward. Now is the time to practice some flight maneuvers. You will find that the Fire Strike Pro is very nicely balanced with its flight control inputs. Moving the Controller right stick left or right causes the indoor RC helicopter to turn left or right. Similarly, movement of the right stick up or down causes the Fire Strike Pro indoor RC helicopter to move forward or backward. All the time, you are carefully adjusting the left stick (throttle) to maintain a level altitude. The flight controls are completely intuitive. You will immediately be comfortable with the control scheme of the helicopter, and feel a real sense of connection to this little machine flying literally inches away from you.
Again, the key to successful indoor RC helicopter flight is proper use of the throttle. You will quickly learn that as the helicopter moves in any direction, some sort of throttle adjustment is required. This will very soon become second nature, and just part of your overall series of inputs to make the indoor RC helicopter go where you want. Keep in mind the Fire Strike Pro has four electric motors working at the same time, constantly varying their speed to implement control inputs. These four motors are a drain on the indoor RC helicopter flight battery. You will find the need to gradually increase the amount of throttle to maintain level flight as the battery charge lowers. Eventually, the battery will be drained enough that the indoor RC helicopter will not maintain level flight. At this time, simply land, recharge, and go fly again. Keep in mind the Fire Strike is a great trainer for full four channel helicopters such as the Proto Max.

Fire Strike Pro head on view
The Fire Strike Pro indoor RC helicopter will on occasion encounter its own rotor down wash, usually during abrupt maneuvering near the ground, and flip on its back. Always immediately close the throttle when this happens. Damage to the rotors can only occur when they are moving and hit the ground - or any other solid object, like a wall. The Fire Strike Pro is so light weight that when you do have a crash, nothing breaks if you can remember to always turn the motors off prior to impact.
Summary
In summary, you will find the Fire Strike Pro indoor RC helicopter a new, fascinating and completely fun flying experience. Give one a try today. You cannot go wrong with this winner!
